IBASE Cybersecurity and Resilience Commitment
IBASE is committed to embedding cybersecurity and resilience into every stage of our product lifecycle. To enhance industrial cybersecurity and ensure readiness for evolving regulatory requirements, we are advancing toward the following objectives:
- We aim to achieve IEC 62443-4-1 certification, the internationally recognized standard for secure product development lifecycle in industrial automation and control systems, by Q2 2026.
- We plan to obtain IEC 62443-4-2 certification, covering the technical security requirements for industrial products, and to align with the objectives of the European Union Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) before Q4 2027.
As cyber threats continue to grow and industrial systems become increasingly interconnected, protecting industrial computing infrastructure has become essential. Our pursuit of IEC 62443 certifications demonstrates IBASE’s commitment to delivering secure, reliable, and compliant industrial-grade solutions that safeguard customer operations.
The EU Cyber Resilience Act introduces mandatory cybersecurity requirements for products with digital elements, including hardware and software that connect to devices or networks. The CRA emphasizes secure product design, vulnerability management, long-term security support, and supply-chain transparency.
The IEC 62443 framework, particularly Parts 4-1 and 4-2, provides a structured foundation that supports these principles and closely aligns with the CRA’s objectives.
By achieving these certifications, IBASE will further strengthen its position as a trusted partner in industrial computing. We remain dedicated to integrating security into product design, manufacturing, and lifecycle management. Beyond certification, we will continue to innovate and address evolving cybersecurity challenges to ensure that industrial infrastructures remain secure and resilient.
